its been a long time since i updated this (febuary) anyway thanks to eric edwards for an excellent evening was brilliant and i would advise anyone who has'nt had the chance to see him to get along to the next veiwing you will not be disapointed ......................

......................... its been a hectic time on the fishing front for a few of the region 5 members since my last post with some big kippers being caught a few 20's (5 that i know of) and even russ (Dr Death) bagging a fine specimen of 31.07 lb ive done crap as normal although i did manage a scottish pb of 17.04 lb ........................ we,ve got a few new lads coming to the meetings now and anyone else fancing having a look in then feel free to do so ,the more the merrier i recon directions can be found further down the page ...........will up date more regular from now on :-(

NEWS FLASH!!!!!
The one and only eric edwards will be greeting the north lakes region 5 with a talk and slide show on 7th feb 2007 all welcome doors will open at 7 and the show will start at 8 . £5 admission (includes buffet) and a prize raffle come on in and mingle its sure to be a good night

, junction 40 on the M6 follow the A 66 towards workington and you will see sign posts for great clifton at the top of the hill turn right then branch of left and you will be there .North of the border a74 to carlise and follow the signs for workington ,join the A66 in workington and turn left at the roundabout ,follow the road into clifton and turn left at the clifton hotel (old gin house)then like before bear left and follow the road ;-) drive carefully and take it easy ...............see you there x

region 5 fish-in at coniston on 12/11/06 if you wanna come along and join in £3 on the day just to add a bit of fun

just a quick update all meetings will be held on the first wednesday of every month (unless stated otherwise) the meeting place is great clifton rugby club and they start at 7.45

also we have a fish-in on the second sunday after the meeting from september -february the venues are drawn from a hat but the last one is always in scotland somewhere ( loch ken,woodhall) this one we make a weekend of it
